On Monday we enjoyed a visit to Sacrewell Farm.  We took part in Bug Hunting, enjoyed a tractor ride where we learned about organic farming and loved the small animal experience.  On the farm we saw farming from the past including a water mill and farm machinery pulled by horses.  Our class spotted lots of new life on the farm including a Suffolk Punch rare bread foal, lambs, a calf and nine piglets!  We had a super fun day on the farm!

Today we enjoyed taking part in our Sports Morning.  We took part in a carousel of different activities to develop our skills which included the javelin, penalty shootout, long jump, obstacle course and bean bag throw.  Afterwards we took part in an egg and spoon and running race.

We have been learning that lots of our food is grown from plants.  We followed instructions and made cress sandwiches.
